Been staying up way too late looking at eye candy on flickr. I need to spend more time actually making things instead of looking for things to make. At least it helps me unwind after a long crazy day of tantrums and toddler protests.

It's official. I'm obsessed with turquoise floral prints. I love love love this fabric line...it's called "Darla" by Tanya Whelan. It's really hard to find and is sold out almost everywhere. hello again

I've taken a morning sickness induced hiatus from this blog. And lets be honest, while I still love black and white, I love color equally as much. Don't be surprised to see posts about color. Starting today. I need a place to store my favorite finds of all colors, as computers seem to crash and fail me these days.

Anyway, I am on a huge wallpaper kick. I love it. I decided to wallpaper our bathroom, until I priced it out. My high-end taste puts all wallpaper completely out of our budget. Oh well. A girl can dream. Right now I am in love with the wallpaper above.

b + w ikea

On my last trip to ikea, the whole store seemed to be dripping with black and white. Furniture, textiles, baby gear, dishes, and more. I almost bought this black and white fabric to make curtains for my room, but then I chickened out. We seem to be growing out of our house very quickly, and I don't really want to invest any more in a house we have already lost TONS of money on.

Also liked this highchair.

silhouettes

I need to change out my silhouettes from fall ones to spring ones. I meant to make winter ones but it never happened. I'm so indecisive that I can never commit to a choice. Black and white silhouettes, or colored ones? Silhouettes of my children or of random interesting things? My friend Kim gave me the link to this blog that has some fun ideas. I'll keep you posted on what I decide.

b + w bedroom

I am seeing black, white, and yellow everywhere. I thought this was an interesting set-up. Found it at room service. I like it, but I think it would give me a headache after a while. I would change the black beadspread for a white one. But I believe white is the only color that should be allowed on a bed.

chalkboard paint

I have long been wanting to do something with chalkboard paint. It's so cool. I considered doing something in my little boys' room but I once heard that chalk (talc) was carcinogenic so I have been putting it off. I saw this today on designsponge and LOVED it.
